Margaret Emefiele, wife of Godwin Emefiele, governor of central bank of Nigeria has been released less than 24 hours after her abduction.
Our correspondent gathered that she was released due to the gallantry of the armed forces, the police and other security agencies.
It could be recalled that ransom was demanded by the abductors when they made contacts with the family members of the lady, after her abduction Thursday along Benin-Agbor Road.
However, security agents rescued her at Ugoneki near Benin city and is currently recuperating in government house, Asaba, Delta state.
