Four children of the same parents have been burnt to death as a result of kerosene explosion, which occurred in Ozuoba community, Obio/Akpor Local Government of Rivers State.

Daily Sun gathered that the explosion occurred at the weekend, when the mother of the children striked a match to light her stove. An eyewitness, identified as Mercy Ndume, disclosed that the stove contained adulterated kerosene, popularly called ‘kpo fire’ and added that the fire razed the building housing the victims and other occupants.  Further information gathered revealed that the mother of the deceased children, who narrowly escaped death, was a kerosene dealer.
