From Okey Sampson, Aba

Mother of eminent businessman and former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, Elder (Mrs) Eunice Uzor Kalu, has urged Christians in Nigeria to love one another. She also called on lay faithful to always give support to the clergy.
Elder (Mrs) Kalu, who made the remarks in Aba, Abia State, yesterday, after attending a church service in honour of the out gone minister in-charge of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, First Aba Parish, Red. Dr. Ikechukwu Ibeka Nduka, said by so doing, people would receive the blessings of God.
Elder Kalu described Rev Nduka as a real man of God, who got anointing from the Lord.
“The Reverend is a good man, a real man of God, and that is why I call him holy. He is the only man of God I call holy because he was anointed by God,” she said.
Mrs Kalu recalled when the church was constructing a four-story building and it collapsed and buried the workers under the rumbles; how Rev. Nduka’s prayers had revived the worker who was confirmed dead when he was brought out.
The mother of the former governor of the state said it was because of the cleric’s contributions to the growth of the parish that made her to come all the way from Abuja to honour him with leaders of Reality Organisation, stressing that it was Rev. Nduka that revived the parish when it was at the brink of collapse.
She urged the church to support Rev. Nduka and wished him well in his new area of posting.
Earlier in his sermon at the church service, Rev. Lekwauwa Eke likened the out gone minister to a prophet who used the mandate given to him by God to positively touch the lives of many, adding that the congregation would continue to miss him.
He said although Rev. Nduka was leaving First Aba Parish, he was optimistic the minister would remain in their hearts. He, therefore, urged them to always support him materially and financially.
Rev. Nduka, who was transferred to Owerri, Imo State, thanked the mother of the former governor members of the First Aba Parish for the warm send forth given him and promised to always remember them in prayers.
