Executive Chairman of Stercoll Group and former gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA) in Abia State, Dr. Emeka Kalu, has congratulated a former governor of Abia State, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, on his conferment of honorary doctorate degree by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, today.
Dr. Kalu in a statement, described the former Abia State governor as a seasoned administrator whose contributions to the development of Abia State and Nigeria has been largely acclaimed by all and sundry.

During your tenure as governor of Abia State, salaries of workers were promptly paid, numerous roads and bridges were constructed, rural electrification was done, Enyimba won the CAF champions league back to back.
“One of the greatest achievements of your tenure was the free medical services rendered to the good people of Abia State and making education free for all.
