Ace actor, Prince Jide Kosoko, has teamed up with a fast-rising real estate company, Meritabode Nigeria Ltd, to which he is a brand ambassador, in leading the campaign for unswerving property acquisitions across the country. This is coming against the backdrop of the prevalent menace of land grabbers, otherwise called ‘Omo-Onile’ most especially in Lagos and its environs.

Speaking at the company’s corporate headquarters in Lagos recently, Kosoko emphasised integrity and professionalism as the hallmark of Meritabode in delivering land and housing needs to patrons in the last five years.

“I am Jide Kosoko, the brand ambassador of Meritabode Nigeria Limited. I feel so honoured to be part of this great team as we celebrate our five years of integrity, professional services, customer satisfaction, and partnership with the government in providing housing solutions to the deficit suffered in many states within Nigeria, especially Lagos State,” he said.

The Lagos prince harped on the purple colour and logo of the company, which he said signifies “a housing solution with peace of mind”.

Recounting the five-year journey of the company, Managing Director of Meritabode, Mr. Oludotun Oseni disclosed that what started as a dream in September 2011 has earned his team several awards of excellence in recognition of their impact in the real estate sector. The awards include Real Estate Leadership Excellence Prize 2016 organised by African Corporate Leadership Excellence prize committee; Global Most Trusted Quality Real Estate Company of the Year 2016 organised by Global Quality Excellence Award committee; Award for Remarkable Performance in the Real Estate Sector, organised by City People magazine; Most Reliable Property Company of the Year Award organised by Ikeja City Awards, and Award of Leadership Excellence organised by NANS among others.

“These awards are a clear evidence of our impact in the real estate sector of Nigeria’s economy,” Oseni stated, adding that the company has over 17 ongoing projects with four estates fully sold out. “The 17 ongoing projects are generally called Emerald Garden Series and it cuts across good and habitable locations such as Simawa, Ibeju Lekki, Ikorodu, Agbara, Arepo, Magodo, and Maba-Aseese.”

A graduate of Economics, Oseni said his passion for housing business was borne out of the pains he saw people go through. “I see how people have fallen victims in their desire to have shelter. Meritabode began as the answer to these simple questions, how do we solve the problems of housing in Nigeria with integrity and how do we raise a work force so as to reduce the unemployment rate in our nation? That is why our watchword is integrity,” he stressed.

According to Oseni, the next five years can only be better, as the company kicks off the second-half of the decade by offering a plot of land free, for every five plots purchased.
