The National Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’ah Wa’ikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, has urged Nigerian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia not to relent in their prayers for peace and stability in Nigeria and for President Muhammadu Buhari.

Lau made the call on Thursday during a preaching session at ‘Al-Ihsan wal najahi’ Mosque, Masfala, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

He said that now that the Hajj rites had been concluded, pilgrims should continue to pray for the country and its leaders up to the end of their stay in the Holy Land.

“Allah Has given President Muhammadu Buhari good health, we thanked Him for that.

“I am appealing to you to continue to pray to Allah to continue to grant the President good health and give Nigeria peace and stability.

“We believed Allah answers prayers of pilgrims, so, we should use this opportunity to pray for ourselves, our country as well as our leaders at all levels,’’ he said.
