Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) said its leader,  Nnamdi Kanu did not subscribe to becoming a hero but God Almighty made him one because of the truth he preached on Radio Biafra.
The group disagreed with the statement credited to the Governor of Imo State,  Rochas Okorocha, insinuating that Nnamdi Kanu insulted everyone, including elders in Biafraland.
Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful, spoke, while reacting to Governor Okorocha’s comments said Kanu propagated the truth to the world which people with good conscience around the globe understood.
“Kanu propagates the truth to the world which people with good conscience around the globe understood and nicknamed him the prophet of our time beca§§§§§§§§use almost all his teachings and prophecies on Radio Biafra have come to pass.
“Since the killing in Agatu Benue State, Uzo-Uwani in Enugu State, Southern Kaduna and the killing of unarmed peaceful members of IPOB, there has been no official pronouncements against the killings from the Federal Government.
“It is unfortunate that some politicians don’t see the future around them before making statements, the situation in Nigeria warrants dissolution which will be better for every indigenous people.
“In other words, a man does not make himself a hero but by his actions towards people, he becomes a hero. Kanu, the IPOB leader did not ascribe to become a hero but God Almighty (Chukwu Okike Abiama) picked him and made him a hero of the new world order because of the truth he preaches.
“God Almighty picked Moses by the side of the river and anointed him a hero among the Jews in Egypt, He picked David, the youngest son of Zebedee, anointed him the king of Israel and Joseph was also second to the last sons of Jacob but God Almighty still picked him up above his seniors. Therefore, God Almighty knows why he picked Kanu to lead his people out of Nigeria,” Powerful stated.
