Leicester City midfielder Wilfried Ndidi may return to action today as the Super Eagles battle Czech Republic in a friendly ahead of the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Ndidi, who missed the DR Congo tie and the glamour friendly against England at Wembley Stadium due to an injury, is raring to go according to the Super Eagles lead officer, Toyin Ibitoye.

“Ndidi has resumed full training with the rest of the team. He is also ready for selection against Czech Republic.

“He missed the England friendly due to precautionary measure by Coach Gernot Rohr but it appears the midfielder will be featured in the game.”

Speaking further Ibitoye said the team has put behind the 2-1 loss to England and are ready to make Nigerians proud.

“For us, the loss to England is a temporary set back as the players have promised to go to Russia with the heads up by defeating their opponents today in Vienna.”

The three-time African champions, according to Ibitoye will travel for one hour 45 minutes from their Avita Resort camp in Bad Tatzmannsdorf to Rannerdorf for the tie.
