Lady Christy Ray Okoye is the Managing Director of Raynes Group of Companies and former President of Committee of Friends For Humanity (COFFHA). Friendly to the core and full of life, she also holds one of the highest traditional titles in Igbo land. Iyom. She spoke with Sunday Sun about her favourites recently.
Favourite colour?
I love brown. I like something that’s a little toned down. I like brown and black. Maybe because I’m fair, I don’t want to come out loud.
Favourite food?
I’m not a food person. Generally, I like typically English breakfast that is what I enjoy more. My toast with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon etc.
Favourite holiday spot?
Las Vegas. I think the best hotels in the world are in Las Vegas. And each hotel has something different to show you. The environment and nightlife in Las Vegas is awesome.
Favourite car?
Range Rover. The engine and the movement is something I cherish more. I love the Range Rover Sports especially. That’s my latest car. It looks great on the road and it’s quite powerful
Favourite weather?
I like cold weather. I hate hot weather.
Favourite leader?
I would say Barrack Obama. It was quite exciting to have a black president in the US and he did well during his tenure.
Favourite magazine?
I’m not a book person to be frank. Magazine? I would say Hello Magazine.
Favourite sport?
When I was younger, I used to be a sprinter and my favourite race is 200 metres. I used to represent my school at the state level. Now, I go on the treadmill. I love swimming too. I swim well.
Favourite fashion accessory?
I’m a diamond lady. I love diamonds. I love other precious stones too. I love rubies and a couple of others.
Favourite music?
I’m an old school person oh. I love Lionel Richie and Celine Dion.
