Imo  State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has warned the traditional ruler of Obinugwu Autonomous Community, Eze Cletus Ilomuanya to stop parading himself as a traditional ruler.

Okorocha, who gave the warning yesterday during an interactive session with newsmen, said another traditional ruler had been long installed in his place.

He also  threatened to order his arrest for still parading himself as the Obi of Obinugwu long after he ceased to be the traditional ruler of the community, just  as he  stated that he was  wrongly made an Eze in the first instance.

According to him, the only judgment that the embattled åObingwu monarch got was the one that ordered his reinstatement  as the chairman of the Imo State  Council of Traditional Rulers.

“Cletus Ilomunanya is no longer a traditional ruler because he was wrongly made an Eze in the first instance.

“I removed him as the chairman of Imo  State Council of Traditional Rulers because he was not attending meetings, but he went to court to challenge his removal that his tenure has not elapsed.

“He was removed as Eze after he ordered people to beat up women at the former secretariat of Ndi Eze.

“So, he should stop parading himself as Eze because the judgment that he got was to reinstate him as the chairman of the council of Imo State Traditional Rulers but his tenure was already over.

“The Eze in Obingwu, is Stanley Nwangwu and not Ilomunanya who is an impostor. I have ordered that he be arrested whenever his convoy is sighted  in the state including the occupants of the vehicle.

“We cannot continue to tolerate lawlessness and disobedience of constituted authority in the state and if he continues, I might banish him from the state,” Okorocha said.
