Fun seekers and casual adventurers in love with unique beach experience are in for an unforgettable moment at the exquisite Atican Beach Resort located in Okun Ajah, Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State.
Atican Beach Resort incorporates the relaxed atmosphere of a coastal community with the beauty and elegance of a standard luxury hotel. With abundant rock & roll outdoor offerings including fabulous dining at the leisure bar and restaurant, revelers and holiday makers will get up close and personal with the sparkling waves at the Atican beachside.
While it is a favourite coastal hideaway for celebrities, top artistes, business executives and expatriates, it continues to be popular with fun enthusiasts and tourists. Atican Beach Resort recently hosted musical shows in its spacious arena overlooking the beach with guests and holidaymakers taking up apartments in the luxurious beach hotel complex for beach camping. With bold and exciting opportunities to tap inner adventures in a holiday destination, it was great fun for many beach lovers who could not resist the endless opportunities that abound at the resort.
With balmy breeze, nature’s exotic creatures like gulf fish in the emerald green waters and sprawling ocean view for the crowd to soak in extraordinary pleasures or just nestling in the sugar white sand, Atican Beach Resort is surrounded by miles of the Atlantic Ocean. For the visitors, it was just enough to get your heart racing, as there were plenty foods and drinks provided by the restaurant.
According to the Chairman/CEO, Atican Beach Resort, Chief Atiku Rasheed Abogun, the beach facility was established in Okun Ajah town to provide outdoor offerings, sandy beach entertainment, luxury style accommodation and hospitality standard for visitors, tourists and corporate executives.
“I decided to set up Atican Beach Resort after my travel experience and exposure across Europe and America. I believe escaping from the hustle and bustle of urban life is very important. I don’t see why business executives or entrepreneurs who work so hard should be bogged down by stress, which is a burden to healthy living. That is the problem we face in the task of economic and social endeavours. Therefore, my investment in the hospitality and tourism sector was driven towards contributing my quota to healthy living and comfortable lifestyle,” he explained.
Abogun believes that for leisure and holiday escape, there is no need traveling abroad, as staying at home will help conserve foreign exchange and promote tourism development in Nigeria.
On why he named his exclusive lounge bar ‘Bar Wahala’, Abogun said it was a deliberate coinage dedicated to a loyal friend and customer, and it has become a treasure for quality service.
