In this portion of the series, I am providing proofs to the statement I made in the Part 3 on May 31, that there has been no election since 1999 (indeed since 1993) and no President we have had since then, that Almighty God did not discuss with me. Undoubtedly Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, President from 1999 – 2007 and Dr. Goodluck Jonathan from 2010 – 15, have been the foremost history – making First Citizens the nation has had since independence, fifty – seven years ago come October 1. Obasanjo was the first former military Head of State to return as an elected President and so far the only one to serve two full – terms since the American – type of executive presidential system was introduced thirty – eight years ago, on October 1, 1979.

President Shehu Shagari was toppled by the military on December 31, 1983 three months after re – election. President Umaru Yar’Adua died in May 2010 three years into his first term, while President Jonathan lost re – election in 2015. Even if incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari, the second former military First Citizen to be elected president, stands for re – election in 2019 and wins, he would by 2023 have served a total of nine years and eight months as Head of State. Whereas Obasanjo was at the helm of the nation’s affairs for a cumulative eleven years and seven months. So, he has the record of being Nigeria’s longest – serving Head of State and would remain so forever except the country’s constitution is amended from a maximum of two presidential terms to three or more tenures.

For his part, Jonathan so far has been the only Nigerian to serve as Deputy – Governor and move on to become the Governor of a state (Bayelsa) and graduate into being the Vice – President and President of the country. Given this reality, he and Obasanjo can reasonably see themselves, and be so seen by all and sundry, as God’s most favoured Nigerians and people sure to make the Kingdom of God, otherwise called Paradise. But I don’t think so, given the sins I had shown in the last three weeks that they committed against the Lord’s law.

Especially given the unrefuted allegation of a native doctor that he was commissioned and sacrificed seventy-six cows for Obasanjo to win the 1999 presidential poll. Which goes against the Heavenly Father’s injunction that one must not have another god after Him and that He punishes such people and their descendants to the third and fourth generation (Exodus 20: 1 – 6).

As a servant of the Most High I know through spiritual revelation why Obasanjo escaped being killed during Lt. – Colonel Bukar Dimka’s ill  – fated coup of Friday, February 13, 1976. And why he was chosen as Head of State to replace assassinated General Murtala Mohammed. His fortune was due to the prayers and deliverance exercise carried out for him in September 1975. Which was about two months after their regime came into power on July 29. So, it was not a matter of destiny. Neither did Jonathan become President in 2010 because it was pre – ordained for him to be. It was just by luck through Obasanjo’s machination.

Indeed, after he announced in August or September 2010 that he could contest the presidential poll in 2011 I wrote a series titled: Jonathan not God’s candidate for the election, and warned Nigerians not to vote for him, because of the consequences for him, the Peoples Democratic Party and the nation. This was after he ignored my advice in June 2010 not to seek re – election in a piece I titled: Jonathan think twice, wait for 2015.

It’s true that it was from 1993 when He sent me to Chief Moshood Abiola on that year’s presidential poll which he contested, that the Lord started discussing elections in the country with me. But I have known about leadership change before they happened from the overthrow of General Yakubu Gowon on July 29, 1975. This came about through my being a member from 1973 – 80 of a three – man Cherubim and Seraphim praying – band led by late Ijebu – Ode – born Prophet Adekunle Adebajo (1945 – 2008). A clerk at the Nigerian Produce Marketing Company (NPMC), Campbell Street, Lagos Island who was an exceptionally gifted seer and a remarkable problem solving cleric. He made predictions stating the names of people and the day something happened or will take place and those involved or would be involved in what occurred or will occur. Our colleague was Joe Elebesun of the Central Bank, Tinubu, Lagos who travelled abroad in 1975 for further studies.

Professor Anele’s faux pas on Bible authors (11)

Like Hebrews in the 27 – Book New Testament, the biographies of the authors of the 39 Books in the Old Testament are another evidence of the authenticity of those named as the writers of each Book. Because a question mark is placed in front of the names of those said to be the authors of five of the Books. In other words, that it is not certain that they were the ones who wrote them and which means one can rely on those said to be the authors of the other thirty – four Books.

Question marks are placed in front of the names of Prophet Jeremiah as the author of the First and Second Books of Kings, Ezra as the writer of the Book of Ezra, Mordecai as the person who produced the Book of Esther and Job as the one behind the Book of Job. Prophet Samuel is down as the author of the Books of Judges, Ruth and 1st Samuel. But 2nd Samuel is said to have been written by Ezra who is also credited as the author of First and Second Chronicles. This again underlines the genuineness of those named as the authors of each Book. If not Second Samuel would have been ascribed to Prophet Samuel who wrote First Samuel.

Ezra was an expert on the Law of God who led the second group of Jews who returned to Israel from exile in Babylon. He was said to have helped the people to reorganize their religious life in order to safeguard the spiritual heritage of the Hebrews.

Mordecai, a cousin of Esther, was one of the Jews taken into exile along with King Jehoiachin of Judah by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. He made Esther who became the wife (queen) of King Xerxes of Persia to get the monarch to save the Israelites from extermination by Haman, the Prime Minister. When he was executed, Mordecai became a senior official of the king, replacing him as the most influential and powerful person in the empire (Esther Chapters 1 – 10).
