Intending Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for Hajj have been advised not to see the journey as merely excursion, but as a mission to worship Allah and fulfil the fifth pillar of Islam.

Chairman of Al-Gafar Travel and Tours, Alhaji Gafar Lookman Adele, offered the advice during a seminar organised for intending Pilgrims that traveling with the company in Ikotun area of Lagos State.

Adele also said that Hajj was a serious exercise that required total commitment of the pilgrims while in Saudi Arabia so that Allah could accept it as worship from them.

Alhaji Adele enjoined pilgrims to perform the exercise the way it was done by prophet Mohammed during his lifetime.

The pilgrimage operator also warned the pilgrims from violating Saudi Arabia laws or go beyond what they go for in the holy land.

In his remarks, General Manager of Al-Gafar travel and Tours, Alhaji Sulaimon Issa, advised the pilgrims against excess shopping and unnecessary luggage, saying they could be made to pay extra amount for them.

Issa called the pilgrims to use the opportunity to pray for themselves,their family, country and President Muhammed Buhari while in Saudi Arabia.

He maintained that Saudi Arabia was an holy Land that Allah easily accept prayers from anybody that called on him, so they should use the opportunity to pray for resolution to some of this heart desires.

 

He assured them of best treatment by the company in Saudi Arabia with best hotel that will not be too far from Holy mosque of Kabbah.

 

Earlier, the chief missioner of Al-Faizuna Islamic foundation, sheikh Mumnideen Abdulazeez gave the intending Pilgrims the breakdown of what they will do during the Hajj exercise and told them to carry out all the exercise with fear of Allah so that the Pilgrimage would be accepted from them.

Sheikh Abdulazeez said that the Tawaf, Safar and Marwa praying at the mountain of Arafat, stoning of Satan are the major duties for all pilgrims.

He congratulated the pilgrims and wish them successful pilgrimage exercise.
