Ungwan Magaji is a community under Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The people of Ungwan Magaji have for long been abandoned by their leaders and the proof can be seen when one visits them.

In this era of democracy, the Ungwan Magaji Community has only one primary school with two class rooms. The primary school in question was built by Comrade Usman Mohammed, a local business man, who is also a member of the community. It is very unfortunate that the people of Ungwan Magaji can hardly be differentiated from orphans that lack every good thing of life and their leaders are responsible for their condition.

Nevertheless, aside the local primary school, there is nothing else to point at. As I learnt from Comrade Usman Mohammed that there is no government-funded development project in Magaji community. Usman also said the roads in Magaji community are not motorable, there is no potable water, no electricity, no hospital or any primary healthcare centre, no secondary school and many more.

Nevertheless, Ungwan Magaji community is part of the area that represented by Hassan Adamu Shekarau, a member of the House of Representatives. It is represented in the Kaduna State House of Assembly by Ali Ismail. Ungwan Magaji

I want to appeal to Senator Usman Mohammed, Hon Hassan Adamu Shekarau, Honourable Ali Ismail and the Kaduna State Government under the leadership of Governor El-Rufai, to look into the plight the people of Ungwan Magaji community and thereby provide the needed social amenities to enable them enjoy the dividends of democracy.

In the same manner, I want to draw attention to Hunkuyi in Kudan Local Government Area of Kaduna State. It is a community with a large number of people, and they have only one well which serves as a source of water for the entire population. The well in question was excavated and built through the effort made by the late Sardauna of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello, when he was the premier of the North.

The well has not been able to serve the entire community and it is not all the time that one can get water from it as it dries up every dry season. The members of the community can no longer to endure the deprivation and suffering that are occasioned by the scarcity of water. What is more painful is that their leaders are aware of the water problem, but have to do nothing about.  Nevertheless, my investigation has shown that the Hunkuyi community is part of the constituency of Senator Shehu Sani and honourable Suleiman Othman, a member of the House of Representatives, Abuja. Both the senator and the Reps member are aware of the problem that Hunkuyi community is facing. I am compelled to call on Senator Shehu Sani, Governor Nasir El-Rufai and Suleiman Othman, quickly come to the aid of Hunkuyi community. It is not too late to provide water for the people of Hunkuyi and other social amenities that are unavailable in their community.
