A 16-year-old girl (names withheld) has allegedly been gang-raped by seven men at Okene Primary School in Okuokoko community, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.

Two of the suspected rapists have been arrested by officers from Orerokpe police division while others are still at large.

The victim identified the two suspects who raped her. She alleged that the suspected rapists photographed and filmed her during the act.

The victim said she was on her way to see a friend when the men emerged from nowhere and dragged her into the school premises, where they defiled her against her will.

She alleged that the suspects forcefully tore her clothes to shreds even as her pleas for them to spare her fell on deaf ears.

Chairman of the Delta State Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, Prince Kehinde Taiga, has condemned the act.
