Fun as Nickelodeon superstars thrill kids at NickFest

For over 4,000 children who stormed the the inaugural Nickelodeon’s NickFest recently held in Lagos, it was an unforgettable experience.

Guests were captivated with Nickelodeon characters and also entertained by top Nigerian artistes like Yemi Alade, Simi, Mr. P (Paul of P-Square), Ill Blizz, Mr. Eazi, Samantha Walsh, Ehiz and Chioma Akpotha among others.

Organised by Nickelodeon, popular family entertainment TV network owned by Viacom International Media Networks Africa (VIMN Africa) in partnership with Maltina, the show was hosted by the  duo of IK Osakioduwa and Emmanuella of Mark Angel Comedy.

Children were held spellbound seeing live their favourite animated superstars such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Chase among others and Dora & Friends, also made a special appearance. 

Commenting, Alex Okosi, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, VIMN Africa, said: “Nickelodeon is a firm favourite for family entertainment globally. With this first instalment of NickFest, we brought lots of happiness and fun to kids and their parents in Nigeria. This is the first NickFest in Lagos and considering the success and incredible show of support from parents, children and local artistes, we hope to include NickFest as a regular festival in our calendar.”
