‘I love the comment you made in your Family Tonic about Trump and the American Election. Keep it up. Christ is coming soon’ [0807 466 7656]

‘American Election! The Trump of God has sounded in America – 1Thess. 4:16. God bless the United States of America. Obama and Clinton can continue in their Gay, Lesbian and Transgender Ministry! We give God all the glory. Jesus is Lord. [Col RN Oputa Rtd’ – 0803 320 6191]

‘Pastor, I am one of the people that buy Saturday Sun newspaper because we gain more practical understanding of the Bible because of your column. Thanks. God bless you’. [0803 328 9149]

“I have been following your messages, ‘Victory By the Word’. They are mind-blowing, enriched with spiritual vitalities. I pray that many unbelievers will believe strongly in Christ through them, and Christians, who have derailed, will retrace their steps back to God.’ [0803 540 9779]

‘The harmful truth, we all need… The current Nigeria problem is deeply rooted in doctrinal error. Thieves, looters, bombers, etc, are evidences of such. For me, I have stopped going to the Church because it has not improved me spiritually. Prosperity preaching alone is a high way to hell’. [Name withheld]

FT: Bro, I go down on my knees to beg you [I am texting you kneeling down] please, go back to Church. There are thousands of good ones even in Abuja: Foursquare Gospel Church, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Anglican Communion, Revival Group, Evangel Pentecostal Church, et cetera. Please, my brother…

‘Thanks very much. I appreciate you, sir. I promise to attend one tomorrow.’

FT: God bless you. Were you in Church on Sunday?

‘Yes, sir. I attended Redeemed Church’.

FT: Thanks my dear.

‘Thanks a lot, sir. I am grateful for your direction and guidance’.

‘Good day sir! How are you and family doing? How is the ministry? I hope God is helping you. Sir, sometimes I read your write-up in Saturday Sun newspaper. Honestly, I am always touched any time I read it. Your write ups have always been precise, direct, honest and undiluted even when it looks hard. I really enjoyed your write-up on Trump and Clinton Election: The Christian Perspective’. It reminds me of Pastor W.F Kumuyi. You, seem to have something in common with him. Sir, I really commend you for the courage of saying the truth and all your effort. Sir, I will like to have the address of your Church. I want to come and see you. Thank you, sir and God bless you’. FT: Where do you live? Where do you worship?

‘Thank you so kindly, sir! Yes, I reside at Isheri-Ijegun, after Jakande Gate, along Isolo-Ejigbo-Ikotun Road. Honestly speaking sir, I am not consistent in any particular Church, but I was a member of Deeper Life, where I was brought up. I worship in Redeem Church very close to my area, but not regular. I need to refocus, re-concentrate and reestablish myself in God’s Kingdom. I have been trying to get where I can really be a member of a body of Christ. Meanwhile, I am not against any denomination. I just want where I can be revived. Thank you, sir and God bless.’

FT: I encourage you to continue worshipping with the Redeemed Church of God or go back to Deeper Life.

‘Man of God, I enjoy reading your message in the newspaper. My husband has lost his job because he was promoted and was set-up. By ‘Victory by the Word’ as you wrote, if you speak on my behalf now, you can turn things around for him’.[0809 551 7782]

FT: My wife and I, are praying for him.

Sir, I just read your article on the American Election and it reminded me of my fervency when I was born-again recently. That was over three decades ago and your article has subsequently challenged me to keep the faith! I can imagine how churches today in the name of revenue generation and patronage, avoid the truth because it will hurt some members of their congregation! I thank God that the world is still blessed with people of your type. With Trump’s victory, God has used the foolish things of the world to confound the wise! Before the election, it was almost certain that Hillary was on the sure path to indisputable victory! Against polls and predictions, she lost at an unimaginable margin! God has proved His supremacy in the affairs of men! Again, thanks for the encouraging piece and informative perspective. [Sanjo Fasola]

‘I honestly thank God for resourceful people like you in the body of Christ. I am from Bayelsa and reside in Yenagoa. I am really moved by your write-up, Victory by the Word 2. It is a great message worthy of note. To God be the glory for Jesus is our Lord forever. Thank you. [0816 825 2386]

‘I am glad that men like you still exist in the Press. Trump is telling the whole world that Americans are not ‘Father Christmas’. [Nicholas, 0812 009 3829]

FT: I do not work in the Press.

‘You forwarded a text to me from a man [not willing to go to Church again] and yours to him. It is not enough to go on your knees begging someone to go to 4 Square or P Square. Tell the Churches to preach the truth, not talking about Sowing and Watering seeds, et cetera, all the time, not hell or demons, not witches and wizards and prophecies but all about Jesus [Ijeamaka; 0903 587 5936]

FT: If the excuse of a youth for not going to school is that all the schools in his village do not teach well, he will remain an illiterate for life. His friend, who goes to school, though the schools do not teach well, will be literate.

‘If you tell someone to go to Church, any Church at all, you may end up making him twice the child of hell and of course, you should not advertise for any Church. Preach salvation through faith in Jesus only. Please, why does [xxx] answer Daddy? What did Jesus say about that or is Daddy different from father?’

FT: I send my converts to their nearest Church that preaches Jesus. I believe and teach that if a child of God leaves one Church and joins another, Heaven is not moved but if a sinner repents and joins a Bible-believing Church, it makes an impact in Heaven. Do not take literally what the Bible means by not calling people ‘Father’. We are not to worship anybody except God. Daddy is for respect and no more.
