Governor Ayo Fayose  of Ekit State, on Wednesday, described Acting President Yemi Osinbajo and his All Progressives Congress (APC) party, as “professional riggers.”

Fayose, who is the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Governors’ Forum, said while speaking during the women’s day celebration in Ado-Ekiti, that the party would resist any attempt to rig the upcoming election in the state.

It was gathered that Fayose also promised a cash donation of five hundred million naira to women of the state.

Speaking on the pains of women Fayose said: “I know the pains you women go through. I don’t want you to be confined to the kitchen and the other room.

“We will do our best to make you happy, as part of this celebration, I will promote a woman who is due for retirement to the position of a permanent secretary.

“I want all women in the state to always perform their civic rights, any government you don’t want, sack them.

“I told them in Abuja that Ekiti cannot be collected, they decamped to the APC but I keep telling them this state is not for them. The last time during the local government election we defeated them and we will do same again.

“APC are professional riggers and we will defeat them, tell them at the villa, Professor Osinbajo, Ekiti cannot be taken, no rigging is allowed here.

“We are prepared for the election, Ekiti is a no-go area. They cannot steal our votes, we will march them propaganda for propaganda.

On the PDP crisis, Fayose said the people of Ekiti “know Makarfi as our leader and not Sheriff.”

He said: “Fear not, we are not with Sheriff and will never be with Sheriff, we have a leader sent by God, we believe in the outcome of the Supreme court.

“Those disturbing Fayose will be sacked, those after me will fail. Those looking for me, will first meet God, the question is it possible?
