•Since the first dress is a long dress, you can opt for a short reception dress. Get something fun and flirty that is comfortable. But if you are a little conservative, you can go for a party-appropriate knee or floor length dress.

•Your reception dress mustn’t be a dress. If you want a pant or shorts then go for it. However, make sure your short is decent because of your in-laws and guest.

•Play with colours. Your reception dress should be vibrant and certainly not white. However, before you pick a colour make sure that it doesn’t clash with your complexion.

•You have to be very comfortable in your second dress. This is not the time to be struggling with undergarments or itchy layers. Make sure your reception dress is something you can drink and dance in all night.
