Scotland-based defender, Efe Ambrose, is excited about his progress at his club, Hibernian FC where he has been on loan since July last year.

The player joined Hibernian on loan from Celtic despite having offers in some parts of Europe.

Ambrose was happy his team again won their league match 2-1 against Motherwell on Wednesday night to further put pressure on the top three teams on the table.

    Hibernian are in the fourth position with 41 points from 25 matches with 11 wins, eight draws and six defeats.

He said: “I am very happy with the team and where I am. My decision to stay in Scotland and Celtic is personal and there are no regrets. My team is steadily doing well and I know we will do better in the days ahead. Scottish League is so tough but somehow we have been strong too to maintain our place among the best.

   “The Motherwell match was very tough but we did well collectively to grind out the result.”

The Super Eagles player is particularly excited that he has been playing regularly with the Scottish top team since he joined the club last season.

    “Every player love to play regularly and that is what I am enjoying now,”  Ambrose said.

The Scotland based player was part of the country’s team to the Brazil 2014 World Cup where the Super Eagles crashed out in the second round after losing 2-1 to France.”
