As mixed reactions continued to trail the return of President Muhammadu Buhari after many weeks of medical vacation in the United Kingdom, Christians in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital, on Sunday evening, held a special thanksgiving service to celebrate the return of Mr. President.
Speaking during the thanksgiving service, the Senior Prophet of Eternal Light of World Christian Church, Abakaliki, Adol Awam Chris said the church was celebrating the fulfillment of God’s prophecy concerning the strange ailment of President Buhari which he said was shown to him in 2014 even before he emerged Nigeria’s president.
Prophet Chris maintained that the prophecy over President Buhari’s illness was revealed through a revelation in 2014, adding that the ailment of Mr. President was pre-destined as part of events that would throw Nigeria up to greatness.
“In 2014, while I was praying, I was shown the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari. In that prophesy also, I was made to understand that the President would undergo serious spiritual attack and that he would get sick and would almost go the way former President Yar’Adua went but God made me to understand that he would survive and finish his tenure.”
Prophet Chris who was invited to Aso Rock to pray for the family of President Buhari on the 28t February, 2017 said it was a fulfillment of God’s design that Mr. President was brought home alive and declared that God brought President Buhari as Nigeria’s President at this point in time for a purpose.
He further absolved Mr. President of all the killings in the Southern Kaduna and other parts of the country and maintained that the reason which he was elected would soon manifest which he said is to reposition Nigeria and purge it of various ills and corruption. Ends
