ONE more week! That is what Nigerians will have to endure to know who will manage the Super Eagles ahead of the Russia 2018 World Cup quali­fiers.

The NFF disclosed this much yesterday in Abuja after its executive commit­tee meeting.

The Amaju Pinnick  led board which failed to reach contractual agree­ment with Frenchman, Paul Le Guen disclosed in a communiqué made available to Daily Sun­sport that it has given its technical and development sub-committee a 7-day ultimatum to scout and recommend a new techni­cal adviser for Eagles.

The communique read in part: “Executive Committee instructed the Technical and Develop­ment Sub –Committee to, within the next seven (7) days, recommend a candidate for the post of Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles.”

Other major decisions arrived at by the commit­tee include the confirma­tion of Salisu Yusuf as Chief Coach, placing of assistant coaches on only bonuses and allowances, as well as the appointment of Bitrus Bewarang as the new National Technical Director. He replaces the late Coach Shaibu Amodu.

Imama Amapakabo it was also confirmed will serve as Assistant Coach and Alloy Agu as Goal­keepers’ Trainer while Nduka Ugbade was re­turned to the U17 National Team as Assistant Coach.
