Arla Dano has launched two variants of flavoured milk powder into the Nigerian market.

The newly introduced Dano flavoured milk powder which comes in strawberry and chocolate flavours were launched following consumer research that informed increasing desire for a convenient and exciting milk product among families especially kids.

According to Mads Burmester, Managing Director, TG Arla Nigeria, the variants are an extension of  Dano filled milk powder offered in chocolate and strawberry flavours, specially developed to meet the needs of discerning consumers who seek to enjoy the goodness of milk in more exciting ways.

Speaking during a media interview, Ms. Ifunanya Obiakor, Category Marketing Manager, TG Arla Nigeria said the newly introduced variant is a demonstration of Arla Foods expertise in the dairy space to serve and satisfy the craving for nourishing goodness by consumers as revealed from extensive consumer insight and the end of year festivity affords a great opportunity to launch the products.

She said this introduction  will no doubt entrench the Dano brand footprint in the packaged milk powder market as everyone and kids in particular now have reasons to redefine their taste for flavored milk and opt for the brand that offers them creamy and exciting nourishment.

Also speaking during the unveiling of the products amidst regulatory stakeholders, trade partners, consumer representatives and members of the fourth estate, was the President of the Nutrition Society of Nigeria, Dr. Batholomew I.C. Brai. Dr. Brai said that the goal of the NSN is to promote good nutrition for a healthy nation and hailed Arla Dano for providing products that nourish consumers and provide the vital nutrients for healthy living.
