The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has issues its Ground Operations Manual (IGOM) certification to Dana Air even as it commended the management of the airline for taking steps to ensure full compliance with internationally recognized standards for ground handling processes.

The IATA Ground Operational Manual (IGOM) defines ground-handling standards for airlines and ground service providers and it is geared at ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent ground service activities.

Dana Air’s Accountable Manager/ Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Obi Mbanuzuo in Lagos recently saying IATA considered it an essential task for all airlines’ ground handling operations to deliver smooth turnarounds and on time departures, with safety being the number one priority.
Commenting on the airline’s latest achievement, Mr. Obi Mbanuzuo, said Dana Air was listed after the international association confirmed that the airline had fully adhered to its global ground handling standards as continued in its manual.
