The Advisory Board of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide (ESOCS) has appointed Dr. David Bob-Manuel as its new Prelate and Baba Aladura.

General Secretary, Dr. Napo Emuchay, disclosed this at a press conference at the church’s headquarters in Surulere, yesterday.

Emuchay said the induction of Bob-Manuel will take place from September 7 to September 10, 2017 at the church’s headquarters to mark the 92nd anniversary of the church.

In his remarks, Dr. Bob-Manuel thanked God and members of the advisory board for his appointment and said his tenure will focus on spiritual revival, evangelism, righteous and holy living.

He called for unity among Christians, and advised that denominational differences should not hinder the central purpose of winning souls for Christ and standing together to fight against evil and the ills of the society.

His appointment makes him the 9th Baba Aladura, since the church was founded.
