It was a grand moment of pleasure and gourmet style clinking of glasses at an exclusive Taittinger champagne party held recently in Lagos.
Hosted by TEO Limited, authorised agent and exclusive distributor of Taittinger champagne brand in Nigeria, the party had connoisseurs, captains of industry, business executives and vibrant brand ambassadors converged on the fifth floor executive lounge of Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos for a truly bubbly cocktail soiree.
With a colourful guest list, tasty food, well stocked bar and groovy soulful music rendered by a live band, the shindig reinforced the Taittinger mission, which is to evoke happiness and pleasure, with a touch of classic and authentic signature of its great past for a greater future.
As the guests and officials of Taittinger mingled and exchanged light banters while sipping champagne, the uniformed bar staff and F&B personnel equally rose to the occasion, filling up their glasses with drinks and plates with canapés. The atmosphere was indeed enchanting and exciting.
Speaking at the event, Managing Director, TEO Limited, Chief Olatunde Onakoya, acknowledged the patronage and commitment of Taittinger’s brand ambassadors, connoisseurs and distributors who have made the champagne their number one choice.
“The cocktail party was a celebration of the good times and expression of happiness and pleasures that encapsulate Taittinger’s philosophy and brand essence worldwide,” he says.
On his part, Taittinger’s Export Manager for Africa/Middle East/Europe, Mr. Carlos de Ipanema, who flew in from France, says the party was “a way of sharing happy moments with our friends, partners and distributors and particularly to educate consumers on the Taittinger tradition of excellence, elegant style and its heritage collection as part of global marketing development and brand exposure in Nigeria”.
Ipanema listed the Taittinger champagne variants to include Taittinger Brut Reserve, Taittinger Prestige Rose, Taittinger Brut Millesime, Taittinger Nocturne City Lights, Nocturne Rose, and Taittinger Demi-Sec
He, however, singled out Taittinger Comtes de Champagne (Blanc de Blancs) as the signature jewel cuvee that offers exceptional richness body and power with excellent balance and suppleness on the palate.
