• As club throws stadium gates open

ENYIMBA F.C. striker Mfon Udoh says his de­sire is to score against Egyptian giant, Zamalek in the CAF Champi­ons League group stage opener today at Adokiye Amiesiamaka Stadium in Port Harcout .

Udoh, who is in superb form ahead of the crack­er, having scored five goals in five matches, re­vealed that he is familiar with a handful of the Za­malek players adding that his objective before any match is to score at any given opportunity.

“All our opponents are good teams with high pro­files, but the better teams will qualify,” Udoh be­gan.

“We are facing a side that are no strangers to us. I do know some of their players very well and know how to handle them. I go into every game with the objective of scoring but the main aspiration is to make sure that Eny­imba gets the maximum three points of the game,” Udoh said.

Enyimba, will be hop­ing to secure the three maximum points, a situ­ation that would brighten her chances of emerging from the group for the semi final.

The Peoples Elephant during the qualifying stages, beat Tunisian side, Etoile Sportive du Sahel on penalties to make it to the money spinning mini league stage.

Meanwhile, the Nige­rian champion has thrown open the gates to the Sta­dium with club boss Felix Anyansi-Agwu calling for total support for the home team in Port Harcourt.

According to Anyan­si,10 buses will be avail­able at the Enyimba Inter­national Stadium Aba,to convey fans to Port Har­court.
