President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on social media, Lauretta Onochie, on Monday, engaged ace journalist Dele Momodu in a war of words on Twitter.

Dele Momodu is angry at Buhari’s aide Lauretta Onochie for being insulting.

It was gathered that trouble started at the weekend when Onocie knocked Momodu for praising the achievements of acting president Yemi Osinbajo in the last one month in office.

Onochie, while reacting to words of Japheth Omojuwa, who expressed dismay at the splitting of the Buhari-Osinbajo regime just because Buhari was on vacation, said on Sunday, February 26 to Momodu:

Apparently Momodu, publisher of famous celebrity lifestyle magazine Ovation and one-time staunch follower of Buhari who earned a visit to the presidential villa, found Onochie’s words insulting and he replied on Monday.

He tweeted:

Never the one to go down without a fight, Onochie fired back.

Lauretta’s words come just as a group within the ruling party called the All Progressives Congress Youths Renaissance warned Nigerians against praising the achievements of acting president Yemi Osinbajo.

This, the group said, is to avoid causing conflict between the two politicians who are the head of the present administration.
