National Coordinator of the Buhari/ Osinbajo Ideology Supporters (BOIS-2019), Hajia Amina Bature, has said President Muhammadu Buhari inherited a battered economy which he has been working hard to reposition and put on a sound footing.

Bature made  the remark over the weekend, in Abuja, at the inauguration of the support group, which already has presence in all the 36 states of the federation.

She explained that despite the bad shape in which the president met the economy, the country would soon become an exporting nation. This, she said, is due to the president’s hard work, which informed the group’s decision to work hard so as to return him for a second term.

She  told the supporters’ group that the president has completed several projects which his government met in office while new ones have also been initiated.

On  the accusation that the president has been encouraging killing, Bature dismissed the allegation, saying that no religion encourages killing, no matter what the situation is. She added that Buhari would do anything possible to ensure that the killing of innocent Nigerians is brought to an end.

“Despite  Baba’s situation, he is still capable of ruling Nigeria. We all believe we are in pain, but people should realise that there is no gain without pain, which is what the president is preaching,” she said.
