A national Coordinator of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Garus Gololo, has replied the Convener of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) group, Aisha Yesufu, saying President Muhammadu Buhari would neither resign nor be impeached.

Recall that recently, Yesufu had urged President Buhari to resign on health grounds or be impeached by the National Assembly if he failed to resign.

But reacting to Yesufu’s call, Gololo who spoke exclusively with our correspondent, in Makurdi, on Monday, insisted that the President was still very agile and fit to rule the country, stressing that people like Yesufu were only calling for Buhari’s impeachment because they were afraid of the corruption fight of his administration.

“Our President will not resign or be impeached as Aisha Yesufu is asking. As a matter of fact, President Buhari is still very strong and agile to rule this country especially with support of his able Vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.”

He, therefore, asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to probe the account of the Bring Back Our Girls group positing that many such organisations only use them as conduit pipes to make money from international donors.

“Those calling for his resignation are afraid of his fight against corruption. And that is why I am urging the EFCC to probe the BBOG group because many of these Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) only use them to siphon money from international donors.”

Gololo who scored the performance of the Buhari led administration high within two years of assuming office said would still do more in the remaining part of his four year tenure.
