…Blasts saboteurs

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has commended the pan-Igbo social-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze, for its courage in speaking the truth without fear or favour over the restoration of Biafran state.
The group noted that as long as Ohanaeze Ndigbo remained on the side of the truth, its leadership would continue to support its initiatives aimed at liberating, emancipating and promoting the people of Biafra.
However, the group accused some top Igbo politicians including a serving minister of sabotaging efforts of Ndigbo.
“We condemn those intent on perpetrating the master-slave relationship between Abuja and Enugu…Those political jobbers feeding from the crumbs from the master’s table should be ashamed of themselves and know that the day of reckoning is fast approaching,” the group said.
A statement by the Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Mr. Emma Powerful, urged other social cultural organisations and elders in Biafraland including Ijaw, Itsekiri, Anang, Ibibio, Kalabari, Opobo, Igala, Idoma, Ogoni, Urhobo, Igbanke etc to toe the line of Ohaneaze by supporting the struggle of Biafra and condemning the incarceration of its members.
“Until the sacred and divine mission is accomplished, IPOB worldwide will never rest. However, anybody or group of persons against the new found courage of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in supporting the quest for freedom for all must examine his or her conscience before offering an opinion. Nevertheless, we, IPOB have gone beyond the rent-boy era of politics in Igbo speaking part of Biafra. That is something these no hopers should know.
“This is the time to embolden the few good men left in Igboland not to pander to the interest of political vultures who have brought nothing tangible to the emancipation discourse championed by our leader, Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB members worldwide.
“Our goal remains the attainment of absolute freedom in deed not just in mere words, for all oppressed people of Biafra and beyond.
“We also commend Ohanaeze leadership for demonstrating the leadership charisma for once through out their period in office as executive in Igboland,” Powerful said.
