Barcelona will host Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga today in the first El Clasico fixture of the season, while Real Madrid will host Barcelona in the reverse fixture on 23rd April 2017.

The heavyweights, currently enduring difficult runs in the league, will be looking to put their forms behind and win the game.

Real Madrid last won the fixture at Camp Nou by 2-1 but were hammered 4-0 in the reverse fixture. Madrid is currently top of the league table while Barcelona are second.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and co are really on a difficult game this time around as Barcelona look forward to lifting another Liga crown.

However,  the Luis Enrique  coached side will have a long road to trek against familiar foes who are still nursing the bashing they received at the last El Clasico.

In the last El Clasico game, Barcelona put up a great show of football at the Santiago Bernabeu to triumph over Real Madrid by four goals to nil.
