The Nigeria Army has arrested three suspected informants who give vital information to bandits in Zamfara State.

A statement signed by the Director, Army/Public Relations, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu, said the troops deployed at Magam town, on Monday, arrested three suspected informants in Gobirawa Fulani village following a tip-off.

Chukwu said the suspects are allegedly responsible for giving information to bandits before they carry out attacks.

“The bandits abandoned their victim and the motorcycles on sighting the

“Efforts are being intensified by the troops to get the fleeing bandits,” he added.

The Army spokesman reminded the people to always report any suspicious activities to the law enforcement agents for prompt action.
