Anambra State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Norbert Obi has predicted victory for the incumbent governor, Chief Willie Obiano in the November election.
Obi while making a presentation yesterday during the face- to -face interaction with members of a Non Governmental Organisation, Anambra Consensus Project, said that Obiano has done well in service delivery and would definitely be returned to office for a second tenure by the Anambra electorate.
He also said that though APGA has no anointed candidate for the coming poll, the party was set for its primary election and also knows where it is going. He dismissed insinuations of factions in APGA and described those fanning the embers of discord in the party as “opportunist” who want to reap where they did not sow.
“Our people believe in APGA government and they will translate that support into votes for Obiano. Elections are won at the polling unit level and the elders, men and women including the youths know where we are going so APGA will carry the day” he said.
