Anthony Joshua has set his sights on facing Deontay Wilder, Joseph Parker and Tyson Fury in the UK next year.
The world heavyweight champion produced a dominant performance to finally stop Carlos Takam in the 10th round to retain his WBA, IBF and IBO world titles on Saturday night.
Joshua had promised to meet all his mandatory challengers, but promoter Eddie Hearn also promised to deliver the fights the fans wanted to see.
‘Deontay Wilder against AJ has to happen,’ said Hearn,
‘There’s also a great heavyweight called Tyson Fury who has to come back to the sport.
‘Anthony Joshua wants to be in the real fights, I promise you.
‘I promise the fans Anthony Joshua will give you the fights that you want, I promise you that.
‘Deontay Wilder,Joseph Parker, Tyson Fury are the 2018 fights.’
Joshua had been linked with a fight abroad after switching to Cardiff following his victory over Wladimir Klitschko in London.
But Hearn insisted he wanted to keep Joshua in the UK.
Meanwhile, Joshua wanted his suspected broken nose cracked back into place first, before targeting super fights against the likes of Deontay Wilder and Joseph Parker in 2018.
The IBF and WBA Super heavyweight champion sustained the injury after Carlos Takam’s head clashed straight on to the bridge of his nose.
“I want to get my nose cracked back in place first. We have a few months now to heal it up and get a doctor to look at it, we work with some great doctors and then we can get back in training.”
