Recently the Abelekuma community in Ghana came alive with joy and happiness as the Eze Ndigbo Ghana and Assistant Publicity Secretary Association of Ndieze Ndigbo in the Diaspora, His Royal Majesty Eze, Dr.Amb Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu  join Vice president of Ghana, Alhaji  Mahamudu Bawumia,  former Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, and national Chief Imam of Ghana, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, President National House of Chief’s Ghana and other Islamic leaders from different part of Ghana in commissioning the new Mosque/School he built for the Abelekuma Muslim community.

That day, the community rolled out drums and danced as they hailed the Royal father for his kind gesture in uplifting their community through the building and commissioning of brand new mosque and school.
Other Muslim scholars at the event prayed for HRM Ihenetu and Igbo community andd wished them well.

In his remarks,  the Umuduruoha Amaigbo Nwagele Imo-State born Royal Father, HRM Eze Dr Ihenetu, a global Peace Ambassador and philanthropist who recently won Champion Newspaper 2021 Personality of the year Award commended the Muslim community in Ghana for their peaceful coexistence with other religious groups. “This is one of the ways we touch lives and I’m sure this will help add value to the lives of people that would make use of the facilities.”

The national Chief Imam of Ghana, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, thanked HRM Ihenetu for his kind donation while praying for Allah blessings to continue to shine on him and Igbo community in Ghana.
