Abia Action Youths For Progress (AAYP) has congratulated the three All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidates on their victories at the just concluded party primaries in the state. 

A statement  issued by the group’s  Public Relations Officer, Emeka Omenihu, urged the candidates to work hard ahead of the upcoming general election to ensure they emerge as senators representing their various  constituencies in the 2019 general election.

The senatorial candidates are Chief Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu (Abia North), Senator Nkechi Nwaogu (Abia Central) and  Sir Marc Wabara (Abia South).

Calling on other contestants to come together and support the candidates to achieve victory, the group also congratulated APC’s House  of Representatives candidates, some of whom are  Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu  (Aba North and South), Ben Kalu (Bende Federal Constituency), Nnamdi Iro (Ohafia/Arochukwu), Nkieru Onyejiocha (Isuikwato/Umunneochi) and others, urging them to work together, to ensure APC takes over power in Abia State in 2019.

It enjoined the party, its governorship candidate, Dr. Sampson Ogah, and other candidates, to ensure the masses vote for President Muhammadu Buhari and APC massively, for positive change and dividends of democracy in the state in 2019.
