“I am not aware of any consensus arrangements anywhere. I don’t know where anybody heard that from. What I know is that we are going to have our primaries and winners will emerge.

“APGA is a democratic party. In fact, we are the most democratic party in Nigeria. We follow due process and ensure that everyone is carried along. So, nobody should take that serious. We will conduct our primaries as stipulated,” the party chairman, Oye told newsmen.

Meanwhile, ahead of the 2019 general election, the party has unveiled General John Gbor, from Benue State and Jerry Chukwueke, as its presidential and vice presidential candidates, respectively. Although the duo were at the party secretariat during the press briefing, they were however, barred from addressing newsmen.
