2019: Obasanjo’s coalition can’t solve Nigeria’s problems –Soyinka

Moshood Adebayo

Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, has cautioned Nigerians against those forming coalition ahead of the forthcoming general elections, saying most of them are enemies of democracy.

He spoke at the 80th posthumous birthday of Chief Gani Fawehinmi, yesterday, with the theme: “Democracy for the masses through proper and effective governance.”

Although Soyinka did not mention Obasanjo or anybody’s name in particular, however, he said: “All I have to say in connection with the theme of the event is vigilance. In this society and like others, there are people that whenever they smell anything decaying, they gather just as vultures.

“I find it ironic that those who put themselves, the enemies of democracy, who really take the committed act, not just act, negligence but actually inaugurated certain policies which contributed to our being at this point today, are, once again, coming out and positioning themselves as saviours and messiahs.

“Suddenly, they are forming coalition all over the place; confusing people especially the genuine leaders that we can trust.

“The answer to that is very simple. You need to look at their track record. Don’t allow yourself to plunge into a zone of amnesia which one would conveniently forget unpleasant reality.

“We have had presidents in this country, some of whom inaugurated a never ending process which landed us under one of the most brutal dictator that this nation has ever known.

“We had others who supervised the sacking of democratic governance, I am speaking of Anambra and Oyo states; a governor was kidnapped and in another instance, thugs entered the House of Assembly and sacked the legislatures and installed their own candidate under their watch.

“And, they called themselves God-designated watchmen over the fortune of this nation. The next thing I knew was that the movement was hijacked by the very people who laid the foundation for the collapse of democratic edifice.

“The next thing we discovered was they are forming coalitions. I was invited by one of the rescue mission to address them. So, I called them asking if they were the original people that I saw or the faction under which everyone is moving. I told them not to come near me.

If you sign up to it, you will become one of those who are enemies of democracy in the country.”

Prof. Soyinka should know the fact that there’s no democracy in this natives territory under the dead fraudulent political name Nigeria. Democracy exist only under the natives Disintegrated Republics- Biafra Republic of south east, Niger Delta Republic of south south, Oduduwa Republic of south west, North East Republic, North West Republic, North Central Republic, with economic cooperation and assistance etc. which must be defended with the Sword in this climax of the ongoing Revolution War of the natives which secures the natives existence and future in 21st century world- economy, education, employment, job, salary, pension, social securities, business, public infrastructures, amenities etc. It is over for the dead fulani fraudulent criminal sultanate political government with its emirates in this natives territory. It is over for the dead fraudulent political name Nigeria in this natives territory. It is over for the enemy’s brainwashed terrorism mercenaries nickname military, police etc. in this natives territory. It is God given Victory, it is God given Liberation, it is God given Freedom which must be defended with the Sword in this climax of the ongoing Revolution War of the natives. Only the Sword decides. God Is With Us!!!

Prof. Soyinka always playing alibi even when caught in the very act he is criticising. Soyinka should know that Nigerians are not all fools. While he pointing one finger at others, his other fingers are pointing at himself as crucible. Is this not the same Soyinka who was seen to be celebrating the most autocratic government after election and blaming, and ridiculing the Igbo nation for not voting for this worst autocracy, and for putting all their eggs in one basket by voting Jonathan 95%? Is it not the same Soyinka that have been hobnobbing with military dictators, accepting appointments from them, obtaining his Nobel Price possibly via their help as against Africa’s best novelist Chinua Achebe? All in Soyinka seems to be in the same mold with those he is criticising. Or is he now criticising autocrats because he was not given any appointment by the present regime? Nigerians are qiser.

No Sir. I humbley and earnestly beg to differ with our Nobel Laureate,Prof. Wole Soyinka on this one.
That Chief’s Coalition Proposal can never solve the problems of this country because,we Nigerians
are culturally, innately, and irredeemably corrupt to govern ourselves.
Besides, that will be tantamount to putting an already adulterated wine into an old wine bottle jare.
The use of land mass as a criterion not demography, to carve up our country into new political units and constituencies, coupled with that Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar’s handown Constitution with the
gobbledy-gook Federal Character and Quota System therein, were simply frauds and therefore unacceptable to many a Nigerian. That favoured only the dubious makers.
The call for the Restructuring of the country with a new people’s Constitution is very imperative and that is exactly, what Nigerians urgently need now, not that OBJ’s Coalition Proposal or any further fucking Presidential Elections.
    The country must be retructured into 5 Semi-Autonomous Republics,namely;
1 AREWA Republic for the Hausa/Fulani/Kanuri muslims of the North..
2.A Biafran Republic for us Ndigbo.
3 Middle Belt Republic for the Indigenous People of the Middle Belt.
4.Niger Delta Republic for the people of the South South.
5.And Oduduwa Republic for the noble people of the South West.
Real power must be devolved to each of the 5 Republics with of course, a 100% resource control.
Therefore ,the coming 2019 Presidential Election must be called off, while an interreign Government takes over and oversees a Restructuring of the Country with a brand new People’s Constitution drawn up for the country.
Nonetheless, as along as the Fulanis an their anachronistic neo-Colonialist Caliphate of Sokoto,
which is indeed, a parallel Islamic Republic with our Secular Federal Republic of Nigeria exist in
this country, there will never be harmony, peace and unity here in Nigeria.
The Fulani muslim cattle drivers of the North, are but nomore Nigerians than the Afrikaans (Boars) are South Africans.
Apartheid is nomore in South Africa.Today peace and harmony reign yonder around the Cape of Good Hope and beyond.
The onus therefore is upon us Indigenous Nigerians to bring it home to the Fulani sojouners of the North, that it is about time they burried their dreams of Islamizing our Fatherland and making Nigeria
their Estate of Imam Usman Dan Fodio.
They must be compelled to immediately dismantle their Caliphate of Sokoto, to abrogate Sharia and
to pull our country from our OIC,C8 and C15 Memberships.
They must also accept wholeheartedly the Secularity of our Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Im definitely certain that an alternative to the above will be for us Nigerians to either take our case to the International Court of Arbitration for a resolution, or even we might have to resort to the way of the Yugoslavs; war and eventual going our fucking separate ways.
So , ”Si vis pacem bellum para! ”
We’ve had enough belly full of almost half a century of this vexing Status quo of Hausa/Fulani/Kanuri Islamic Hegemony!!

In as much as ive respect & admiration for Prof Wole Soyinka. As a detrablized Elder Citizen of this Country.I wish to advice him due to Faliablity of all mortals,nt to throw away the Bad Water wt the baby. Therefore the solution or ideal by an individual on Present sad highly Corrupt leadership & selfish politicians induced excruciting economic & financial hardship on majority of Nigerians could nt led to reject good intensions ideas,no matter frm the source. Provided God almighty will use such opinions to bring an end to the corrupt & inept Governance after the 2019 Elections in Nigeria,in the mighty name of God.
