Felabration Organising Committee has named Flyboku, an international Travels & Tourism outfit, as its exclusive tourism partner for Felabration 2018 celebrations taking place between October 15-21st October, 2018.
This revelation was made by the Founder/CEO of the Felabration Brand, Ms Yeni Kuti during a round table meeting between the two organising committee, and the travels outfit.
Kuti was represented at the meeting by the Project Manager for Felabration 2018, Mr. Peter Clarke.
The organising committee further revealed that in celebrating the Afrobeat icon, Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s 80th posthumous birthday that an exclusive tour will be dedicated to exploring the life and history of Fela.
These tours will be handled by FlyBoku and the tours will include visits to African Shrine, Freedom park, Kalakuta republic which was Fela’s personal abode before he died which is also now a museum show casing all of the icon’s history and musical instruments as they were when he died, and visit to the Ransom-Kuti family house in Abeokuta which has now become a museum showcasing all the works of all the Kuti children including Fela’s history as well.
Other activities lined up for the weeklong programme include a symposium, with the theme’’African Leadership in the Millennium’’ , musical concert with star performance by Yeni Kuti, Art competition, Afrobics competition.

The CEO/Founder of the Felabration Brand; Ms Yeni Kuti further said :“I am really excited and proud to be associated with the FlyBoku brand.
